Whole Masoor Curry
A spiced red lentil curry with tomato, ginger and garlic, pressure-cooked until tender.
| prepWash and soak whole masoor 2 hours | |||||||
| 2 tablespoons oil | Toast cumin, cloves & bay leaf in oil | Sauté onion until soft | Add tomato paste, sauté | Stir in turmeric, chilli, anardana, garam masala & salt | Add soaked masoor, mix well | Pour in water, pressure cook 2 whistles | Release pressure naturally, stir in coriander & serve |
