| 12 quail eggs | Boil quail eggs 2 min, chill & peel | Divide sausage into 12, shape around eggs | Roll eggs in beaten egg, then breadcrumbs | Fry in oil 180°C / 350°F, 1–2 min until golden | Drain on kitchen paper, bake 180°C / 350°F 5 min |

| 1 large free-range egg | Beat hen egg in shallow bowl | ||||
