Chilli Garlic Paneer (British Indian Restaurant / BIR Style)

A spiced paneer curry with crispy fried cheese in a tomato-based sauce, aromatic with garlic, ginger and green chillies.
| prepCut paneer into 2–3 cm cubes, coat in flour and salt, deep fry ~90 sec until crisp; drain | |||||||
| 3 tablespoons / 45 ml vegetable oil | Heat oil, fry onion & pepper, 2 min | Add tomato & cabbage, stir 1 min | Add chillies & garlic paste, fry 30 sec | Add spices & salt, fry 2 min | Add tomato paste mixture, cook 2 min | Add curry base, reduce 1–2 min | Stir in paneer, heat through, garnish |
