Crisp, buttery cheddar crackers made from a simple dough, cut into squares and baked until golden.
| prepPreheat oven to 350°F / 177°C | ||||||||
| prepLine 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats | ||||||||
| 170 g sharp yellow cheddar cheese, shredded | Process cheese, flour, cornstarch & salt | Add butter, process until resembles wet sand | Add water, pulse until dough forms clumps | Pat into 2 squares, wrap & chill 45 min | Roll out, trim to 8-inch squares, cut into 1-inch strips | Poke hole in each cracker, sprinkle with sea salt | Bake 350°F / 177°C, 16–18 min until golden | Cool completely on baking sheet |
