A quick food-processor puff pastry with visible butter flecks, folded envelope-style and chilled, ready for sweet or savoury fillings.

| 2 cups / 250 g all-purpose flour | Pulse flour, salt & first butter batch | Pulse in remaining butter, then water | Knead lightly on floured surface, ~10 times | Roll into 12×18 in / 30×45 cm rectangle | Fold envelope-style, then in half; wrap | Chill 1–2 hrs |
