Tender, flaky biscuits made with cold butter folded into the dough, brushed with buttermilk and baked until golden.
| prepPreheat oven to 425°F / 218°C | |||||||
| 2 1/2 cups / 313 g all-purpose flour, plus more for hands and work surface | Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt | Cut in cold butter until coarse crumbs form | Fold in buttermilk & honey until shaggy | Bring together on floured surface, fold 4 times into 3/4-inch rectangle | Cut into 2.5–3 inch circles, arrange touching in skillet or on baking sheet | Brush with remaining buttermilk, bake 425°F / 218°C, 18–20 min until golden | Brush warm biscuits with honey butter, serve |
