Soft matcha-infused butter cookies with white chocolate chips, chilled and baked until edges set.

| 1/2 cup / 115 g unsalted butter, melted and cooled | Mix butter & sugars until smooth | Mix in matcha, egg & vanilla | Add dry ingredients, mix until no dry spots | Scoop onto tray, chill 30 min or up to 2 days | Space dough balls 3–4 inches apart | Bake 350°F / 177°C, 9–11 min; sprinkle flaky salt | Cool on pan 5 min, transfer to wire rack | Dip or spread white chocolate on bottoms, dry 15–20 min |
