Easy banana bread

prepPreheat oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan / Gas 4
prepGrease a 900g / 2lb loaf tin (20×12.5cm / 8×5in)
285 g / 10 oz plain flour	Sift flour, bicarb & salt		Fold in flour mixture	Pour into tin, bake 180°C / 160°C Fan, 60 min	Cool in tin, turn out to rack
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp salt
110 g / 4 oz butter	Cream butter & sugar until fluffy	Stir in eggs, bananas, buttermilk & vanilla
225 g / 8 oz caster sugar
2 free-range eggs
4 ripe bananas, mashed
85 ml / 3 fl oz buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
