Mary Berry's Drop Scones

Fluffy orange-scented pancakes dropped onto a hot pan, served warm with butter, syrup and fresh berries.
| prepHeat a large non-stick frying pan | ||||||
| 175 g / 6 oz self-raising flour | Mix flour, baking powder, sugar & zest | Beat in egg & half the milk until smooth | Beat in remaining milk to pouring consistency | Flip & cook 30 sec–1 min until golden | Transfer to rack, cover with tea towel | Serve warm with butter, syrup, yoghurt & berries |
