Soft Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes 13 large cookies

prepPreheat oven to 350°F / 180°C (standard) or 320°F / 160°C (fan)
prepLine 2 baking trays with parchment paper
1 3/4 cups / 220 g plain all-purpose flour	Whisk dry ingredients				Mix in dry ingredients until almost incorporated	Stir in chocolate chips, rest 5 min	Scoop & bake 350°F / 180°C, 11 min	Cool on tray
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
6 oz / 175 g unsalted butter, cut into cubes	Melt butter, microwave 25–40 sec	Whisk to finish melting butter	Whisk in sugars 15 sec	Whisk in egg, yolk, vanilla 15 sec
1/2 cup / 100 g brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup / 100 g caster sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups / 220 g chocolate chips
