Black Bean Brownies

Fudgy brownies made from puréed black beans, cocoa, and oats; dense and naturally sweetened.
| prepPreheat oven to 350°F / 175°C | |||
| prepGrease an 8×8 in / 20×20 cm pan | |||
| 1 1/2 cups / 250 g black beans (1 15-oz can, drained and rinsed very well) | Blend beans, cocoa, oats, salt, syrup, stevia, oil, vanilla & baking powder until smooth | Stir in chocolate chips, pour into pan & top with optional chips | Bake 350°F / 175°C, 15–18 min; cool 10 min before cutting |
