What's a recipe table?
A prep-table notation invented by Michael Chu at Cooking for Engineers: ingredients down the left, each step a merged cell spanning exactly what it combines. The whole recipe reads in one look — no scrolling back and forth between the ingredient list and the instructions. The full argument, if you want it.
RecipeTables converts any recipe into that format. Paste the text, drop a link, or photograph a cookbook page — then scale the servings, switch between cups and grams, and export the table as an image, spreadsheet, or print-ready page. Link conversions join the library, credited back to their source. Free, no account needed — funded by founding supporters instead of ads.
